About
The conference is a continuation of the work aimed at uniting and developing the efforts of domestic and foreign specialists in developing the properties and application of the most ancient but still relevant unique industrial material "Cast Iron", started at PTCCGI-2017 and STCIM-2018. Due to the limitations of 2020, it was decided to hold the conference in a remote web-format, somewhat narrowing its scope but expanding the geography and contacts of participants. The main scientific issues of the conference are:
- Theory of graphite and matrix structure formation in cast iron
- Theory and practice of cast iron modification and inoculation
